Middle

We see Middle School as a transition from Elementary School to High School. As this is one of the most difficult times in the lives of many students, we strive to facilitate a safe and gradual maturing process both socially and academically. To gradually immerse students into Middle School, the Fifth Grade is a self-contained class, which combines some of the aspects of Middle School with the security of one primary teacher.  Our program builds both academically and socially until our students are ready for High School.  Small class sizes allow for individualized instruction to assist those in need of additional instruction and to allow advanced learners to soar. In addition to core classes, of math, science, language arts, and history the Wesley Middle School curriculum includes four STEAM oriented classes with one taken each quarter. Middle School students also attend a weekly Bible class and choose one elective each quarter to explore their interests.
