ELEMENTARY

Anita Silfvast - Joined Wesley Academy in 2000 and has over 17 years of classroom experience.  Ms. Silfvast currently teaches Grade 2 and holds a degree and certification in Early Childhood through Grade 4.

Amy de la Torre - Joined Wesley in 2008.  Ms. de la Torre teaches Grade 3 and holds a BA in Psychology and Journalism from Texas State University.  Amy is certified in Early Childhood-Grade 4 and has four years of classroom experience.  She also coaches softball and track at Wesley.

Tudy Spellman - Joined Wesley in 1998 and has over 34 years of classroom experience.  She has taught Middle School history and currently teaches Grade 4.  Ms. Spellman holds a BS in Elementary Education and Psychology and is certified in Grades 1-8.

Jackie Saunders - Has taught music at Wesley since its inception in 1995.  Mrs. Saunders holds in BS and MA in Education and is certified for Early Childhood and Elementary grades 1-8 along with several specialized music certifications.

Suzie Reynolds - Teaches elementary science and holds a BS in Geology and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education. State of Texas Teacher Certification in 4 - 8 Science and considered Highly Qualified.by the State of Texas. She began at Wesley in 2009 and has over five years of teaching experience.

Tabitha Waguespack - Joined Wesley Academy in 2009 as the art teacher.  Tabitha will complete her BA and certification in Interdisciplinary Studies in Art in December 2010.  She has three years of classroom experience.

        Nicole Danner - Joins Wesley Academy in 2010.  She has
       10 years of classroom experience ranging from
        Kindergarten to high school.  She hold a BS in Elementary
        Education with a specialization in mathematics.  Mrs.
        Danner is also certified as an NILD (Discovery) Level I
        Educational Therapist.
