SPELLING BEE WINNERS

 

The third annual Wesley Spelling Bee was held Tuesday, February 23.  This year, two Bees were held.  Winners in the Lower School (2-5th grade) Bee were: First Place - Rebekah Miller, Fourth Grade; Second Place - Louis Hathon - Fifth Grade; and Third Place - Emmanuel Anekwuonye, Fourth Grade.  Middle School winners were all from Seventh grade:  First Place - Cassie McKee; Second Place - Maxine Tran; Third Place - Karthik Thiagarajan.Congratulations, Spellers!

 

Spelling Bee Winners:  Maxine Tran, Karthik Thiagarajan, and Cassie McKee.

 

Elementary school winners:  Louis Hathon, Rebekah Miller, and Emmanuel Anekwuonye.

GARAGE SALE
DONATIONS!

Mark your calendars and tell your family and friends about Wesley Academy’s first ever garage sale! The sale will be held on the Wesley Campus - Saturday, September 11, from 9:00am - 2:00pm. All proceeds will help offset the cost of new computers.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING DONATIONS. Items that sell well are: baby/children items, furniture, sports equipment, TV’s, blue jeans, collectibles, toys, camping gear, tools, riding toys, new items of any kind, glassware, books, wall pictures, and Christmas décor. So clean out your closets and garages and help Wesley raise money to expand the technology department.
Donations may be dropped off at the school office between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Contact the school office at 713-266-3341 for further information or if you would like to volunteer and help make this event a great success.
